Documentation

Our content is organized into the following main categories:

  1. Digital Collections contains materials that come from our archives and special collections libraries. They include rare and important collections that have been digitized by library staff.
  2. The Research Repository contains materials from the wider CU community. Currently it only includes dissertations, but we are working on adding more.

CU Digital Collections offers many tools to help you find the content you are looking for:

Browse
You can browse through our list of collections, sorted alphabetically. To find a specific item within a collection, click on the magnifying glass, select the “only in this collection” box, and then do a search.

Search
Use the search box on the home page to find content across our collections. You can search the metadata, like title or author, and also the full text of documents.

In the search results page you can focus your search by filtering by created date, collection, and more.

You can also use Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) to make complex searches.

Advanced Search
The advanced search feature allows you to target your search by searching specific fields, like title, author, date created, and description.
